340B Drug Pricing Program

renditionDownload.jpg

The 340B Drug Pricing Program is a United States Federal Government Program that requires drug manufacturers to provide outpatient drugs to eligible health care organizations and covered entities at significantly reduced prices. The intent of the program is to allow covered entities to "stretch scarce federal resources as far as possible, reaching more eligible patients and providing more comprehensive services."

Richfield Community Pharmacy is associated with Four Points Health, which is a Community Health Center owned and operated by the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah. They are considered a covered entity that receives access to the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Richfield Community Pharmacy is the contract pharmacy for the clinic, which allows us to dispense medication purchased through the program on their behalf.
